புதிய கல்வியாண்டு : 2020-2021

 வள்ளலார் தமிழ்ப் பள்ளியில் பதிவு செய்த உங்கள் அனைவரையும் வள்ளலார் தமிழ்ப் பள்ளியின் புதிய கல்வியாண்டிற்கு வரவேற்கிறோம். இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டு கரோனா தீநுண்மி காரணமாக இணையம் வழியிலேயே நடைபெறும்.

School Reopening Date

The school will reopen on September 19th, 2020. The school timings will be, every Saturday at 11AM EST. We will use Google Classroom and Google Meet for conducting the Tamil Classes. Class teachers will send the Google Classroom Code to all students.

Book Distribution

Books are delayed from CTA due to COVID-19 related Shipping issues. The books will be distributed to all students by the end of September. 
 

E-books

Online flipbooks are available to all Students in the CTA Dashboard. Parents can access the flipbooks by logging into your CTA Dashboard. The books are available under Parent Access > Child Resources Info -> ITA Text Book

Registration Open

Registration is open for the Academic year 2020-2021.

The fee for the current year is reduced to $155 ($150 + $5 for Online Credit Card charges) due to Virtual classes. Please note that this change is only for the current year.

Please complete the registration and pay the fees through Credit Card in CTA Dashboard.

Books will be distributed by the end of September to those who have paid their fees. Details will be sent through email to all those who have registered. Books will be distributed at an open facility with proper social distancing. 

We encourage you to register ASAP as it will help in our planning in these unusual circumstances.

Virtual Tamil Classes until December 2020

We will continue to have Tamil Classes virtually until December 2020. The Board will evaluate the situation in December to determine whether we can extend the Online classes or go in-person in January. Only if the situation is safe for everyone we will have in-person classes.

English Public Speaking Course

Public speaking is a highly sought after soft skill. Public speaking skill helps in building confidence and Leadership qualities in students. We are going to start the "English Public Speaking Course" at our Tamil School for students studying in Elementary grades (Ages 7 to 12) to enable them become confident in English Language and Public Speaking. This will be a free course for Vallalar Tamil School Students. The classes will be after the Tamil Classes, between 12:30 to 1:30PM. There will be 10-12 classes between March and June 2020. At the end of the course, students will participate in an "English Public Speaking competition" to showcase their skills. "Open Book" Monthly Tests

Due to Coronavirus, the school is functioning virtually. So, all students are expected to complete open book exams for the remaining three tests (Test 6, 7 and final exam). Parents should download the question paper from this link  http://njvallalarpalli.org/monthlytest6 , take a print out and give the test to the Students.  If you don't have a printer at home, please have your child answer the questions in a plain white paper. Please scan the answer sheets and send them back to the teachers for grading. We would like to follow some guidelines to make the testing process as fair and as beneficial as possible for everyone. While students are allowed to use any class materials when taking the test, they are expected to take the test by themselves without help from anyone. The oral part of the exam is to be uploaded as an audio file. Parents can help with giving the dictation words (and also with the oral questions as needed).
