WASC Accreditation

We are happy to announce that "Vallalar Tamil School, West Windsor" following the ITA Syllabus, has received Accreditation from Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) -  https://www.acswasc.org Highlights of WASC Accreditation Tamil language is an ancient South Indian Language with a long history and rich literature and comprehensive grammar. The main objective of International Tamil Academy (ITA) is to teach the Tamil language to the Diaspora Children and Youth. In addition to teaching Tamil, ITA encourages Cultural activities such as music, dance, drama and any art form based on Tamil language and Tamil culture to promote Tamil and Tamil culture. ITA has a rich language program and its students not only study the language, they also learn about its history and culture. English Public Speaking Course

Public speaking is a highly sought after soft skill. Public speaking skill helps in building confidence and Leadership qualities in students. We are going to start the "English Public Speaking Course" at our Tamil School for students studying in Elementary grades (Ages 7 to 12) to enable them become confident in English Language and Public Speaking. This will be a free course for Vallalar Tamil School Students. The classes will be after the Tamil Classes, between 12:30 to 1:30PM. There will be 10-12 classes between March and June 2020. At the end of the course, students will participate in an "English Public Speaking competition" to showcase their skills.
